    • Manitoba Agriculture offers a variety of programs under the five-year Sustainable CAP framework, to support the sustainable growth of the agriculture and agri-food sector within the priority areas of:

      • Market Development and Trade
      • Building Sector Capacity, Growth and Competitiveness
      • Science, Research and Innovation
      • Resiliency and Public Trust
      • Indigenous Agriculture and Relationship Development
  • Business Risk Management
    • These programs help farmers manage income declines caused by production losses, low prices, and increased input costs. Each program provides protection for different types of losses in different ways.
  • Veterinary Student Grants 
    • Manitoba Agriculture values the practical experience that veterinary students gain during a summer work term with a rural practice. To encourage this work experience, clinics and businesses can apply for a VetSTEP grant to hire a veterinary student.
